FAQ'S
Here's a list of some of the common questions we get asked and our responses. If there's anything else then just get in contact from our Contact page
Digital image orders
If you've ordered High-Res digital items from us, these follow the same delivery timeframes as our print products (7-14 days turnaround time). This is because we edit each image individually to ensure that this is the best it can be. This includes cropping, colour correction, contrast and brightness, and sharpening. We edit using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. We will usually send a couple of different edits of each photo you order, depending on the original image. If we send you you're images and you'd like something different with the edit, just let us know.
During quieter periods, some digital image orders are occasionally processed earlier than the 7-14 day processing time.
Social media sized images are sent to you immediately on completion of your payment. Your confirmation email will also contain a download link for you to save your image. The social media images we sell are not edited or enhanced in any way, so the image that you see on your screen is similar to the one you receive. Therefore, if the image is in any way blurry, or "soft" in focus, it will be the same in the image you receive. Social media images are resized to FaceBook guidelines on image sizes, therefore it is of lower resolution. It still looks great on a screen, but the files are generally not suitable for printing.
Personalised print orders
If you've seen us at a sporting event, you may have seen our personalised product options. Any of our 12"x8" printed products (Large photo, Double, Trio and Quad), can be printed with a personalised name plaque at the bottom centre of the print. The plaque is a photorealistic image of a metal golden plaque (it's not metal itself, it's printed onto the photo paper). Within this, we can add text of up to three/four lines. For Example:
Joe Bloggs
Everton F.C.
Premier League Champions 2026
If you would like to add text to your product, then simply type the text you'd like in the comments box at the checkout. We will then add this to your print.
Framing
Unfortunately, we're unable to offer the framing services for online orders at this time. This has been attempted in the past but the frames we supply contain glass and we have been unable to find a way of safely transporting these to customers through couriers or the post.
Issues with orders/Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
We'd encourage you to email (hello@weareboxphotography.com) as soon as you can if there's a problem with your order. It's very likely that we'll be able to address the problem quickly and we want to be sure all of our customers are happy with their purchase.
If you wish to return your item to us, we'd be happy to provide a full refund to you. Again, please contact us via email to arrange this. Box Photography cannot pay for any postage costs related to returning the item to us.
Photo quality and printing
We really try to get amazing quality, professional photos 100% of the time. Unfortunately, sometimes, due to the volume of photographs we take and the size of the events we go to, some photos may sneak through the editing process and be slightly 'blurry' or a little bit out of focus.
We'd rather let you decide whether you'd still want these photos as oppose to just deleting them forever, as some of the moments we capture may be special ones, such as a first goal, or try. Obviously, we want our photos to be sharp and amazing quality, as they mostly are, but the speed of sport, the lighting, or the weather, can sometimes give us a run for our money.
If you're looking at a photograph and are unsure of the quality, please drop us an email and we'll take a look at it. Many times, we can run some advanced editing to salvage blurry photos and make them look great. Do contact us first though, as this is very dependant on the original image itself.
